Open Source Collective is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit fiscal host that has been providing financial and legal infrastructure to open source projects since 2017. Our mission is to support a sustainable and healthy open source ecosystem by providing an umbrella structure for our hosted projects and handling the behind-the-scenes tasks such as issuing invoices, managing a bank account, contract review and signature, and more.
What We Offer:
- Financial Management: We offer comprehensive financial services, including accounting, invoicing, and bank account management. Also, through the Open Collective platform, you can raise funds, pay contributors, and manage finances transparently.
- Legal Support: We provide legal support, such as contract review and signature, to protect your project and ensure compliance with pertinent laws.
- Community and Development Opportunities: Join a network of over 3,000 projects and benefit from peer support, professional development, and a collaborative environment.
